After a very exciting week at the INGEN2024 conference in Saanen. Deeplight is proud to announce its active participation in the newly started EIC CombTools project, which focuses on the development of the integrated Kerr frequency comb technology. This project is funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and pools a number of top academic and business partners in the field.

The EIC CombTools project focuses on the development and transition from technology to market of the integrated Kerr frequency comb technology, with compelling applications in the fields of optical communications, metrology and sensor technology. Deeplight’s experience in low-noise frequency-agile lasers and photonic integration is critical to the sucess of the project, particularly in development of light sources for pumping of the frequency comb generators. Deeplight also takes a fundamental role in the transition of the technology to the market as it incorporates the valuable comb generator dies to its product portfolio.

Deeplight remains committed to advancing photonic technologies and contributing to the future of integrated optics. Stay tuned for further updates on our ongoing projects and innovations.
